<더 비트윈> 릴레이 프로젝트는 국내외 활동하는 젊은 작가의 포트폴리오 리뷰를 통해 다양한 창작활동을 하고 있는 작가를 선정, 작품을 소개하는 프로젝트다.

2017년 니나조.박수형, 박진희, 임정수, 이채은 작가의 성공적인 릴레이 전시를 만들어냈으며, 올해도 2018년 4명의 작가를 선정되었다. 이번 프로젝트도 일회성 전시 사업에서 벗어나 보다 적극적인 젊은 작가 발굴과 작가의 참신하고 창작아이디어를 다양한 예술 언어를 통해 디자인해 가는 과정을 릴레이전시를 통해 소개할 예정이다.

2018년 올해 선정된 4명의 작가들은 전시공간에 대한 새로운 해석과 작품의 다양한 표현력을 통해 “작품”을 전시하는 개념과 함께 자신들의 감각적인 혼을 담아낸 독특한 언어, 즉 “문화” 코드를 어떻게 소통해 가는 지에 대한 새로운 미적 표현을 실험하게 될 것이며, 보다 관객들과의 거리를 좁히고 호흡하는 이전에 경험해보지 색다른 공간 연출이 이루어 질것입니다.
 

<THE BETWEEN> is a Young Artist Relay Project that introduces creative Korean young artists who are working both national and abroad. The final artists were selected by reviewing their portfolio review submitted.

2017 <THE BETWEEN> has selected five young artists, NINA CHO&PARK Su Hyung, LIM Jeong Soo, PARK Jin Hee and LEE Chae Eun. The artists presented five different voices making a new body of artworks by each of them successfully in the gallery space. The <THE BETWEEN> project will continue to discover creative ideas in various art languages by emerging young artists. The project will find new ways to work together with artists in various genre beyond one-off exhibition.

In this year 2018, the four selected artists express new interpretations of the exhibition space and show how to communicate with a subject of the 'culture' and 'art' through various expressions in their artwork. Through this relay exhibition, it will be a great meaningful time to reduce a distance between audiences and to share a moment that they have never experienced before.
