같은 산, 다른 모습: 마음이 만드는 세계의 변화
불교의 '무상(無常)'과 '공(空)', '일체유심조 (一切唯心造)'라는 개념처럼, 내 작업은 대상(산)을 통해 집착이나 분별이 없는 무심의 경지를 지향한다. 산마저도 마음의 투영이자 해석의 산물일 뿐, 궁극적으로는 '산조차 없는(無山)' 텅 빈 마음, 즉 모든 경계와 집착에서 벗어난 자유로운 무심의 세계를 그리고자 한다.
이는 변화와 무상함을 받아들이며, 순간순간 '지금 이 순간' 존재하는 것에 충실하고자 하는 나의 다짐이자, 산과 마음, 꿈과 현실, 있음과 없음이 모두 한 마음에서 비롯됨을 자각하는 실천적 태도이다.

The Same Mountain, Different Faces: A World Shaped by the Mind
Like the Buddhist concepts of impermanence(無常), emptiness(空), and the principle that "all phenomena are created by the mind”(一切唯心造), my work seeks a state of no-mind-free from attachment and discrimination-through the motif of the mountain. Even the mountain itself is nothing more than a projection and interpretation of the mind. Ultimately, I aim to depict a state of "no-mountain"(無山): a boundless, empty mind liberated from all attachments and boundaries.
This is both a resolve to embrace change and impermanence, and a commitment to remain fully present in each passing moment. It reflects an awareness that mountains and minds, dreams and realities, presence and absence-all arise from the same mind.
