작가는 스코트랜드 킹혼의 바닷가에서 연구되어진 물결의 반복성과 리듬 그리고 유기적 형태와 빛의 시간성. 그것이 만들어내는 자연의 색과 유기적, 기하학적인 선들을 담은 작업을 통해 자연의 변주를 지속적으로 이야기합니다. 특히 최근 신작들은 수면위에 비쳐진 어떤 형상들을 색의 대비로 표현하고 있습니다. 그 형상들은 자연일 수 있고 또 다른 어떤 형상일 수 있으며 그 형상을 만들어낸 색채는 바다 생태계에서 볼 수 있는 아름다운 색채들을 수면 위에 올리는 작업입니다. 그 과정속에서 자연의 존재와 아름다움을 작업에 담아내는 감각을 논하고 있습니다.

The repetition and rhythm of waves, organic forms, and time of light studied by Cho Hye-kyung on the beach of Kinghorn, Scotland. It continuously talks about natural variations through the work that contains the colors of nature and organic and geometric lines it creates. In particular, recent new works express certain shapes reflected on the surface of the water as color contrast. The figures can be nature or something else. The color that created the shape is the work of putting beautiful colors that can be seen in the sea ecosystem on the surface of the water. In the process, the sense of capturing the existence and beauty of nature in the work is discussed.
