An art treasure map

Art lovers rejoice. The Kimdaljin Research and Consulting Institute and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture have released and distributed an English version of their Seoul Exhibition Guide Art Map.

It`s cute, relatively compact and yellow and grey. And it unfolds to reveal a total of 82 art spots located in 10 districts throughout the city. Phone numbers and addresses of museums and galleries are provided.

And that`s not all. In a little corner of the guide, a bi-monthly update on artists and art techniques lets readers in on some nifty and handy art facts.

Unfold the whole thing and flip it over. Voila! An art poster for you to hang up on your wall.

The March/April 2008 edition is out now. You can find them in airports, hotels, guest houses, embassies, cultural centers and tourist centers.

The current edition gives people the lowdown on 163 ongoing exhibitions. And the best part. It`s free.
